Fun....come on over! The snow has almost melted. Tomorrow it will be sunny & 62F Snow again on Sunday. I don't think where I'm at it got to 90F last Summer. Maybe 88F, once. The lower patio always has that breeze with a cold Colorado nip to it.

Our apartment in Thailand required us to insert our key card in this slot to turn on the lights to the premises. When we left the apartment, we took the key card with us and when it was removed from the slot, the lights and the A/C were turned off. The light switches and A/C wouldn't work unless the key was inserted in the slot...with this set up, there is no way to waste electricity by leaving lights and/or the A/C on when tenants aren't home. There were also many buildings that had escalators that didn't run until someone stepped on them in order to go to another floor. I had not seen this before and thought it a great idea.

One of the things I enjoy about small venues is being up close to the performers. At this show, Jimmie Dale Gilmore and some random lady bantered about what their grandkids called them and their spouse: Meemaw and Pawpaw, Gram and Gramps, I think they eventually got around to. All the while Dave Alvin looked on, arms folded, but with a wry smile. Eventually, on with the show ;-)

Chile Rellenos, one of my favorite dinners. Whole green chiles stuff d with cheddar, dipped in a batter and then gently fried. I top mine with my homemade red chile sauce. They smell as wonderful as they taste!
