Trinidad Memorial Lighthouse, Trinidad, CA The lighthouse, which was built in 1871, is short and squat because it was originally located on a bluff 196 feet above the sea so no need for a soaring tower. After a heavy rainy season in 2017, the light house started to slip as the ground underneath it had become unstable. It was moved to flat ground near the harbor in January, 2018 due to fears that it would fall into the sea if left where it was.

I know it's off topic, but I am just so excited it's finally happened, and I wanted to show the people who are into photography! I was able to take a roll of film (remember my what's next? thread for photography). I'm super bummed they didn't digitize my prints; it's a picture of a picture. Sigh. Chyla kitty.
