I have decided to not spray, and I will more than likely lose Distant Drums. Prairie Star was a challeng even when I sprayed regularly. I have 5 or 6 of them. They are over 5 feet tall, but are black spot magnets. I have about 20 Buck roses, and my best are: Golden Unicorn, Earth Song, Quietness. Others only second year ones that seem good are Prairie Breeze, Prairie Haervest, Pearlie Mae. Country Dancer and Simon Estes are only this year and seem ok, but I haven't challenged the black spot yet. Simon Estes comes from Country Dancer, and they look alike. Honey Sweet is beautiful, but needs to be sprayed. Prairie Sunset is so pretty, but seems a little delicate. I bought a couple last year and this year. Square Dancer and Splendora are new to me this year. Serendipity seems a little vulnerable to black spot. So does Cadenza. Gentle Persuasion seems to be a good rose. Sammy

Oh jeez I really feel for you! I've never broken ribs as far as I know, but last Spring (2007), I was roughhousing with dog - (about 70 lbs weight)...I was on floor in den on my back and dog pounced on me - on ribs on my left side, front. It hurt bad. A couple days later, roughousing again - this time kneeling on foot of bed and dog came up off floor and socked me again in same spot! OUCH! Needless to say...I had some bad pain to the point of 'seriously considering' going to Doc...as not only did my front ribs hurt, so did I feel like my HEART hurt, my side hurt, as well as my BACK ribs started hurting. I never did go to Doc, - (money issues!) - but I quit rough-housing with dog for a long time. (So, I don't know if it was bruised or cracked, or broken!) I don't think broken or cracked, as I felt like if HAD been, money would not be object! LOL! 3-4 months later still hurting but better, but hurting enough to make me 'concerned' it lasted so long. It finally went away. I'm guessing if you BROKE a rib, it will hurt for quite some time, depending on your age and pain tolerance, of course. I didn't try heat or cold packs, so I don't know. Did you try to get pain killers or ? to help from Doc? I don't sleep on back or stomach, mostly on side...However, I slept anyway I could to feel comfortable! Good Luck, and I hope someone comes along with the heat or cold answer for you. (However, you could call Doc or maybe even a Pharmacy to get answer.)

Thanks to everyone for helping out. :) plllog... the only thing being paneled is a single dishdrawer (small kitchen!). I do have a 36" 2-drawer base which would preferably have a single wide pull instead of two pulls on each drawer. blfenton... I'm liking the Revitalize a lot. I drove my husband nuts right up until he installed this one! I am happy enough with the faucet considering it is a budget-friendly one. But it doesn't come in chrome. breezy... I've read several of your posts elsewhere, and you're one of the reasons I've been second-guessing chrome! (I mean that in a complementary way!) But I am a little confused about your choice of Westerly since it only comes in satin nickel and graphite. traceee... thanks so much for the tip! I will definitely look into that site. I like the matching round Westerly knob, too. The one that matches the #4 pull wouldn't look right in my kitchen, so this is a good suggestion. celine... I didn't know about polished nickel until recently. You're right; it IS so pretty and warm. And I didn't realize you are so close to being done!
