Facebook Error: page not available

After perusing groip posts and deciding which one to leave a comment in, when trying to add the comment using my iphone 11 with the latest iOS, I get the error message ”page not available”. Does not matter which group or which group post I try. Anyone else having this issue? Mysery loves company.

I am accessing Facebook using the Safari Browser on my iPhone 11. Interestingly, I have no problem updating those same posts using the Firefox Browser in my Windows 10 pc.

Note: I installed the Firefox Browser’s app on my iPhone but it too gets the error when I try to post a comment in any of various Facebook groups I have and on all posts I tried.

I also joined a new FB Group and got the same error trying to post on my very first comment.

Typically when I have seen that it actually means what it says. The page or that particular has been deleted. Nothing you can about it.

No, not really. The comment for the same page works perfectly when using my Windows Pc. If it were to error out in one post then it would make sense. But not on every post I have tried in the different groups (over 20).

It seems like you need to know what something is called to find it - I tried Local Sales Barkhamsted and got nothing. You found Buy Sell Trade Barkhamsted? So I should try Community News Barkhamsted? (and other nearby towns) I did post on the local Historical Society page that we'll be at the next Barn Dance with samples of old-fashioned preserves, the Society liked my photo and put it in their album so I emailed the VP (a neighbor who calls each year to ask for donations) and asked her to "like" my page, not just the photo, if possible. I haven't heard back from the soup kitchen since I replied to their email thanking me for donations. Is it too pushy to ask for FB likes? What about being listed as a sponsor on their website (I don't know if they have a minimum $ amount to be listed, can ask but the town farm is one, they don't make $ donations and they are chartered to provide a certain % of their harvest to charity but they are still listed.) I won't be Boosting my page since I found it's $5/day to reach about 14 people, minimum 7 days!

also have you tried choosing custom rather than express to see if there is any difference? Outstanding! Be prepared for it to happen again. I don't use any personal type sites, but I have had contact with a couple of individuals who had your concern. If I was a betting man, and I am not, I think the sites' ever expanding security techniques are making the cookies time sensitive. Thus, they expire. DA

Friend had no like button on any posts yesterday using apple products. Came back for a bit then dissapeared again. I had no issues on android. I assume it' s type of Facebook glitch with Apple maybe.
