I knew of the loss of Hank, but I'm not aware that they are struggling. I believe they have a capable crew, but I may be out of the loop on that. Their current sale is in lieu of previous fall's 'Dog Sale's. They advised me of this in August at the HPS/MAG Valley Forge sale.

Well, it appears that Jake from the Bachelor isn't interested in a life of normalcy with his new fiance. It's only today that they are able to lead a life together without it being a secret and now he'll be spending most of his time practicing his moves. Humm, something tells me his love life won't last. They just don't look right together. I'm surprised at this DWTS lineup. Kate plus 8...please...like this woman has the time to do another reality show that will make her even more tired than she already is looking after those 8 kids. Oh yeah, she probably has a nanny doing that so she can run all over the country making herself famous. Should be an interesting season, and I'd like to see Kate out first. Doubt that will happen though.

I finally read Smokin' Seventeen and it was ... eh. Not good, not bad, just a lot of same old, same old, though Stephanie was actively thinking about making a choice between Ranger and Morelli. But unlike the majority of the other books, this one didn't have any laugh out loud moments for me at all. It was all just very formulaic and predictable. I knew who the murderer was as soon as he was introduced, and I'm really tired of Lula and Grandma. Stating the obvious, this has definitely run its course. I do wonder why Explosive Eighteen is coming out in November, rather than next summer. Is the series wrapping up (she asked hopefully)?? Or does Evanovich sense her fan base is dwindling?
