Connections at The Garden Party

Yes, I've been playing it for the past 2 months. Usually pretty good at it but sometimes completely stumped for #3 (and often rely on getting the first 3 because I don't otherwise get #4!)

I play it daily, but sometimes I find it really frustrating because there are other connections that aren't the answers......In these puzzles, there should only be one correct answer. I'm getting better at them, though.

There’s already a thread on Home Deco Conversations. Today’s puzzle is driving me nuts.

Aw, Toronto, then it just becomes a sorting game.

I play it every day. Some days I'm great at it, some days not so great. A few times I got none.

I do best at 3am! Lately I’ve been sleeping better and play at 6:30 or 7, but then I have to come back to it later to finish. What’s with that? and yes, often my last category is the leftovers. Sometimes I try to consider what the connection is before finishing, but not always.

I love spelling bee, wordl, mini crossword and vertex but find Connections just okay . I probably get it 40 percent of the time .

Not an NYT game, but if you like the concept of Connections and want something a little less judgmental, try Red Herring from Blue Ox games. Free game daily. There are three ”real” categories, and a fourth that is the ”red herrings”, they don’t fit in the other catgories. Unlimited tries and time, and you can choose the difficulty level, and change it after you start.

Got all four on Connections tonight.
