I'm allergic to many flowers that have strong scents, especially Oriental Lilies, chrysanthemums, jonquils, daisies, jasmine, etc. even though I like the fragrances and the flowers. Therefore, most of what I grow does not have a fragrance, or at most a mild one. Fortunately, I am not allergic to citrus blossoms, and they are one of my favorite flowers for fragrance. The fragrance is stronger at night.

This watercolor was my maternal grandmother’s. She paid her hairdresser $25 for the 22“ x 28” image. My mother had it framed when her mom gave it to her & it hung in my parents home since early 70’s. My mom gave it to me in 2016. The scene is Mt. Hagen in Anaconda, MT. My hometown & where both my parents were born & lived most of their lives. Artist is Delight McLemore. I love her name.
