Are you going to be replacing your complex neutral sofa? Or your dining room chairs? If not, THAT is the complex neutral you need to be worrying about re: your wall colour if you want everything to hang together, Your flooring (which I would also categorize as red-toned like Brazilian Cherry) is bossy, but not the colour to be trying to coordinate with. It appears to me that your wall colour now is yellow-based and your upholstery more natural linen coloured, which is usually pink-based. I agree with everyone who has suggested painting first before spending money on painting cabinetry. Done well, this costs approximately 1/2 the price of new cabinets and may not fix what's bugging you. Done poorly, it is a terrible investment. Another pro tip now that you have already been warned off painting swatches right on your walls; before you just paint over those swatches, make sure you sand the edges and brush strokes so you don't end up seeing the texture of those swatches forever.

I ordered the 60 inch white vanity (Avanity Modero) sept 2020. It is perfect, however the white paint is chipping off of the front of the cabinet. I would like touch up paint in the white. The order number was 1678-6483-0356-9178. Can tou help?

My favorite white so far has been SW Paper Kraft. It's a lovely creamy white, and the undertone leans more peach rather than yellow. The previous owner painted most of my house with BM Shaker Beige. I would never have chosen beige but I actually like it. It's very light and neutral. It's so light that it reads almost as creamy white in our living room, where we get tons of natural light.

The flooring contractor should be able to show you patch samples on your floor of what a clear coat would look like, and you could also sample some stains if you decide you want it darker. You should be trying to be two shades lighter or darker than your island, but have the same tone (yellow, red, green). Stains have undertones just like paint colors. You may have to stain the new and not the old in order to get the two to look alike, but an experienced floor refinisher should be able to work this out. I had an addition put on my previous house and had new wood floors next to old which were blended seamlessly - I didn't even have the old refinished. If you didn't know where to look for the transition you couldn't tell, and even knowing where it was the difference was very fine - and I'm pretty picky. There was a 4-5 foot opening between the two rooms with no threshold.
