"Can you move that fridge across the aisle so your sink can have landing space on both sides?" Agreed. The space to the left of the sink appears to be too narrow to be useful. Also, if you relocate the refrigerator, you can put the dishwasher to the left of the sink. In its current location, you'll have to turn around in a narrow space each time you take something from the sink to put it in the dishwasher. Most importantly, the dishwasher's location is dangerous; you will fall over the dishwasher door if you back up from the sink while the door is open. P.S. The RS36A72UIN and RS36A80UIN are the same depth.

Which direction should my hallway to garage door be? Left swing into the hallway or left swing into the garage? To the left is our shear wall, it was likely put up before our electrical guys come in and put our light switch to the right of the door. So now, I'm trying to decide if I should push to have the light switch move to the left where the shear wall is. Plans called for left swing door into the hallway with switch on the shear wall area. Left swing into the garage would create a safety hazard IMO as there is a 3 ft drop and we will have steps leading into the house. * The current door will be replaced.

We did consider that, but we like that we can open both doors to move large items through and love the look of the double door. @strategery, both the active and inactive doors are each 3 feet wide, which feels plenty big for us. :)

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I agree the door should swing inwards the question is more about which way. Right, or left. If it swings right as it does now, it opens to the wall/window. If it swings left it opens to the bed.
