need help I.D.ing
Comments (9)I looked up Janet Day and am not sure about the description. It said slightly cupped and puckered and I don't think that fits. I took mine from what looked to be a somewhat mature clump. The largest leaf on #1 is about 12" long by almost 7" wide and it has an arching look. Thanks though! Diane...See MoreI need help I.D.ing this iris.
Comments (16)Thanks for all the replies! I tried to choose a photo that is pretty true to life, color-wise. I will have to go out and measure the stems. It has quit blooming for the season so I'll have to sort of guess at the height of these irises. I should have done that before when there were still blooms on it. It's definitely not Blue Flag. This is a bearded iris, I'm just not sure of whether it's tall or medium. After looking around some, I found an iris that it could be...Stellar Lights which is dated back to 1988 so this one is a possibility. I've been trying to remember if my iris is a rebloomer, which Stellar Lights is. It seems to me that I have seen blooms in the later summer. I appreciate all your help! Thanks a million! Comments (11)Thanks a bunch to kaktuskris for the ID! Looking at larger specimens I had no idea they get so monstrously huge! Now for cuttings! Can I (and how should I) pop the buds off and replant them? I'm residing in zone 8a, and I'm waiting for the end of the growing season to replant the whole thing it in a more suitable & stable pot, but I am curious if it's better to attempt cuttings during growth season or after?...See MoreNeed help I.D'ing these power plugs ( for a friend)
Comments (3)The first one is for an Apple MacBook Pro. That's not the current connector style, so it's probably an older MBP. Which specific model depends on the wattage of the adapter; the higher the wattage, the bigger the screen on the MBP. The second one looks like it goes to a Dell laptop or notebook. I don't know their line well enough to be more specific. The third is kind of hard to tell (would be easier to tell with a head-on shot of the connector) but it looks from here like a generic charger for either a mobile phone or tablet or maybe even something like a digital picture frame. There might be more clues (i.e., a recognizable brand name) on either the back or the plug side of the adapter....See MoreHU-45580804
