Regarding your wall art. It is important that you select art which sings to you! Fall in love with a piece of art and don't rush it. Our home is filled with art we found on vacations. Create your own story in your home. Just work on getting the scale right. In the living room, a long horizontal piece would work well. Approximately 2 ft less in length than the sofa itself. And can fill the wall 2 ft from ceiling or less. These are just estimates for scale to help you avoid buying art that is too small for your spaces. Finally, resist the urge to fill up all your walls. Be strategic.

My advice would be to go on Houzz and start some idea books to figure what your style is . Right now all you will get is dozens of ideas that will keep you more confused than ever. We need info to help with this.

Those curly tree things need to be fronting a door on either side, or on either side of the windows. Placing them so far apart in opposing corners of the room dilutes their impact, makes them look out of place. I'd also take one of the jars of balls off the table and have just one in the center with two smaller candleholders on each side. I love the look of lamps on a buffet, but I never turn mine on so eventually moved them out to make space for stuff I do use. I love that vase with the white flowers. Goes well with the art, but the rest of the stuff kinda distracts, IMHO. In my house, the additional item on the buffet would probably be a wine rack.

I highly recommend you clean the floors FIRST and then decide the wall colour. I have a sneaking suspicion that you will have a VERY different colour once it has been cleaned. Once they have been cleaned, I recommend you LIVE with the colour for a few weeks to get used to it. At that point, you can pick a wall colour. And remember the cleaned tile will throw a LOT of WARM colour into the space and onto the walls. The 'warm' white may turn a VERY strong colour with all that warm orange being thrown onto the walls from the floors. You will notice many inspiration photos have CRISP white on the walls.

Light is glam and table is rustic. First I would look for an oriental style rug with multiple colors.

Panelson the windows, art over a buffet or console on the wall.

I would do a wallpaper mural in the wall. I did one from Anthropology a few years ago in a dining room wall and it was gorgeous. Muted grey tones of clouds and trees. Very ethereal. I’m not sure if they still have it but something similar would work.

I love the clean look of this room, and love the floor, especially. It’s so much easier to clean a floor without a rug, I’d be tempted to do nothing to this room except add a very large canvas. This one is from Juniperprintshop.com.
