I think doing it as an accent wall is an easy solution, thanks for the validation! Unfortunately the hutch will only fit against the long wall (it blocks the windows on the other side, wide angle pic). However the current sofa is facing the fireplace, and I have added window treatments that I’m going to swap out. I’ve added in a better picture of “today” however usually one of the white chairs is where the Christmas tree is!

Picture frame moulding on that wall - Ummmm. Consider a storage cabinet to contain shoes, along with a runner that has a bit of color in it and artwork on the wall.

No picture molding please! It seems all the rage right now as quick fix decor, but will look indeed like you put it up because you didn't know how else to decorate that wall and you only put it there because you can't fit it on other walls. Not a good look.

You have a lot of really interesting furniture that just needs some extra styling help to make the place feel full in the right areas. Love the hutch. Can it be moved to the right by 8 - 12" so it feels more relational with the console?

Love the white console table but that mirror does nothing for it. Instead get a large vertical, rectangular piece of artwork with the same colors as the hutch and frame it as wide as the console. (Maybe a vintage poster?) It will make this whole wall feel so much more complete and cohesive.

Will your sofa and chairs fit the same way as it was staged? (Looks like your sofa may be too big?) It would be nice to have your console and fireplace opposite each other, a stronger look. And the two chairs seem sad so far apart.

No, no mouldings on the walls. Hang artwork, add color and pattern in furniture.

No molding unless you do the entire room otherwise it will look like and accent wall and the historic look of molding is typically in the entire room. Consider the white chairs by the window near the front door. Can the hutch go on the opposite wall in dining room area? Maybe flowers on the entry console table and have it closer to the front door…

Consider loosing the hutch part and keep the rest as a buffet. You can consider putting it on the window wall in dining room- access with tall acceding lamps and a silver serving tray with decanters or something similar that’s beautiful but also useful for entertaining. The entry table and mirror don’t seem to match in the space- mirror is way too small for the large wall. Maybe a huge rectangle mirror set the tall way (not horizontally) with a fabric bench to sit on- or 2 small bench type seats you cane use if needed- you can pick fun pattern or color with them. Also, you could reuse the hutch top as a lower glass cabinet bookcase or something like that possibly somewhere

Can the hitch go between the windows on the fireplace wall bridging dining and living room? Could use it for china or books and photos

The furniture is kind of a hodgepodge, and both the mirror and console table were from our old condo. I plan to replace them both at some point. Thank you for the feedback!

Also, the space between the windows cannot fit the hutch. The picture could probably be moved, but the bar cabinet is new!
