Our son bought the child's loft bed and it came busted on the corner. They wanted to repair it and my son said no.. They finally told them to come and get it. It took almost a month before they picked it up. They charge you $75.00 to put things together wether they do it or you do. Also the shipping is out of sight... Over $500.00 shipping. Since this we have talked to a lot of people that have had problems with them.. I would beware of Pottery Barn...

I've had the PB Schoolhouse stools for 4 months and so far they are very nice. I have the mahogany finish. What I really like is the 26 inch height. I bought some previous that were standard 24 inch and they were just a little too short for my counter. The only thing that bothers me is that there are two rungs in the front. On my stool they are a little too close and it's uncomfortable to rest your foot. I'm thinking of taking it off and touching it up if needed. Other than that I like them, they are pricey though. I had a coupon which helped a lot. I also have PB parsons chairs with slipcovers that have lasted 10 years. Eventually I'll get new covers, maybe when the kids stop being so messy!

Hmmm this is every parent's dilemma. Not sure if PB sells this sofa/fabric combo as resistant to a large house hold? @Runnermom - do you still like your Aiden Swivel chairs? My SO has been trying to get me to order the Irving Roll arm leather chair w nailheads for about a year - for the hearth area in my kitchen. I hadn’t ever bought anything from Pottery Barn before - until about a month ago when I ordered one of their toddler Anywhere Chairs that can be embroidered with the child’s name across the back. That purchase was great - but it was about $140 kid’s chair! My SO is purchasing the chairs - he doesn’t like my rattan furniture (with leather cushions) love seat/chair/ottoman that i currently have in that spot. I don’t use that area really - but he likes watching sports there when my daughter and I are watching something else in the family room (I just cannot get into watching golf on TV - and while I like watching ”my” sports teams play football/basketball - I dont like watching random teams). He brought them up again this past weekend because it was finally cold enough to use the fireplace - he wound up bringing my leather wingback chair/ottoman out of my study and putting it in front of the fireplace. I’ve been selecting bacsically everything we’ve bought so far, so I decided to look at the dimensions to make sure that they’d work in the space. While I liked the width/depth - was surprised about the overall height - seemed short (obviously, much shorter than my windgback chair - which I’ve had for almost 20 years - and still looks great and is super comfy). I am pretty sure that he looked at them in the store - but I dont know how long he sat in them. . . Anyway - he likes the ”look” of PB stuff - so, I thought that maybe I could get him to switch to another PB chair - and I like yours. Thanks!
