Help identifying scat in garden

Jona

This scat has started appearing in my backyard. I live in southern New York state, a little north of NYC, in a very suburban environment. My backyard is entirely fenced-in with 6+ foot (solid, not slatted) fences. I have no pets, though both of my next door neighbors have dogs (though I've never seen any of them in my yard, and I can't imagine how they would get over the tall fences), and there are some feral cats who roam around.

Whatever animal made this, it's prolific - I find many of these poop logs all over the backyard, and then after I clean them all up (with gloves, of course), within a couple of weeks, my yard has tons of them again. I've never seen any animal around that could remotely be considered "wild" - bears, coyotes, etc. Any idea what could be leaving these (and bonus points, suggestions to get it to take its poop elsewhere)?
