Some of the names may change, but the level of enthusiasm remains the same! And even though a few of us may come and go from time to time, as life issues changes, we never forget... Happy Thanksgiving... I'm so grateful for the wonderful people here who have helped me, from my humble beginnings with one Minerva, through a collection that grew... often through the help of friends. I'm thankful for so much generosity, so much friendship, and I offer my best wishes to all of you and your families for a wonderful Holiday Season filled with love, joy, and hope for another year of happiness and wealth of human spirit. Happy Thanksgiving to all. I second the well wishes for everyone hit hard by the economy. My husband has been job searching for over a year with no success. We are fortunate to have my job, but with 6 teenagers between us and college expenses, money doesn't go far. We are thankful for our health and loving friends and family. Martha

I actually celebrated Thanksgiving with my family, mainly to show our grandchildren all the paper turkeys, pilgrims and pumpkins we brought back from our American half-year when their parents were small. It also gave me an opportunity to give my daughter the pumpkin pie she loves since her only American Thanksgiving. We were thankful, too, because she has had two job offers after being out of work for six months.
