11/22 Survivor and Amazing Race tonight

I can't comment on AR because I haven't seen last week yet. But the Survivor previews showed three groups of three in the challenge, and Jeff saying that the last group, all three would lose their vote at TC.

I found myself thinking that Bruce might actually turn it around, like Emily has done. It will be interesting to see if he changes in the remaining days of the show.

I don’t ever watch Survivor, but was happy to see AR back to the format of using ’regular’ people and not celebrities as participants. I think the reason it seems to drag for the first coiple of episodes is the continual introduction of the contestants. they seem more focused on you knowing their backgrounds than what is happening.

This season the episodes were 90 minutes long, because production anticipated the writers/actors strikes and knew that there would be time to fill. The season airing now was not supposed to be shown this season - they flip-flopped it with what will be next season (that was supposed to be this season). Next season Survivor will start with two, two-hour episodes, and then the remaining episodes will be 90 minutes each.

I think you can get other seasons on various streaming services that I don't have. But Netflix will have a couple of seasons at any time, which is enough for me. About Pearl Islands, Sandra got a lot of haters later on (she won twice) but she's a darned good player. And Pearl Islands had the BEST challenges, the pirate-themed ones, like firing muskets and making the loved one walk the plank. That's an outstanding season. And yes, Rupert!

I kept falling asleep. I missed a lot....have some catching up to do. But...Bruce was stunned. He flat out did not see that betrayal coming and knows it might happen at home too. That is amazing that he is so astute, so tuned in, to see that. Just amazing. He impressed me.
