Furniture placement - HELP!!!
Comments (11)When you get time, can you straighten the pictures? It's hard to see the room. I have a really bad neck. lol. The chairs look comfy but I think they're too heavy looking and suffocates the room. They also limit how you want to arrange the furniture. I just got rid of a chair and a half, similar to your two chairs in style but a little longer. While I liked the chair and color, it kept me from loving my room because of it's "heaviness." It suffocated the room. I replaced it with a comfortable wingback and boy did it open up the room & it gave me more options on how I want to arrange my furniture. If you move the train table next to a wall, scoot your sofa back, it will give you a lot more space in the room. I know how important a train table is. lol....See MoreFurniture Placement. Comments (30)Here’s the sofa without the table. Last night my family saw the new set up and liked this arrangement so you can sit on one of the sofas directly across from the tv. But doesn’t it cut off the room from the breakfast/kitchen area? I haven’t taken down my Christmas so that’s why I was cutting that part out of the pictures. The reason I didn’t put the tv over the fireplace is because you see the fireplace when you walk in the front door. Also with the tv on that wall we can see the tv when we are cooking in the kitchen. I love my rugs but Beverly’s pictures with the different rugs are transformative. The pillow information is also super. My current rug won’t fit if I change the direction. I don’t love the clock. I just wanted something to fill a big blank wall. But I really like the mirror. You all are giving such great information. So should i keep the sofas perpendicular? What about having the table behind the sofa? Is it ok that the other sofa isn’t against the wall and there is nothing behind it? Thank you!...See MoreGreat Room furniture placement help
Comments (3)wouldn't you prefer the view as your focal point? Looks like you will have your backs to the View while enjoying the fireplace and watching TV... not to mention the glare on the TV....See MoreShivani Sahney
