I had another good night of sleep so I am happy about that. I am able to do some work around the house. I'd love to rake leaves but I really cannot do that. I was going to attend a memorial service for someone from the Mustang Club, but I can't drive the Mustang in the splint, and not 100% confident driving my Outback (which feels wrong to take to a Mustang event anyways even though they said they will have parking for non-Mustangs). I drove to the vet yesterday while DH sat with her in the back seat but that's only about 10 min vs. 40 min to the memorial.

I haven't really lost weight this week, but DH is down about 2.4 lbs since we started tracking together. I hope to try Zumba tomorrow but it depends on how I feel, not only wrist but also the area where I have the big bruise to put on a sport bra.

I went through that last year, when I fell sideways on the way down from Gregory Bald (June), then up a small set of stone steps at the arboretum (early July), and then in early December, a horse tossed me (I was on the ground) sideways (same side) and hurt my ribs and shoulder. I thought I would never heal.

I got into a Pilates class early this morning, last minute, and that made my 98th class! If I can get an extra tomorrow, I will hit 100!! Club Pilates celebrates 100, 250 and 500 classes.

I may try to weigh in the morning. I reall y don't care about my weight, but it might be nice to know....in case I go to a carnival with a Guess My Weight booth, LOL.

Sorry you are set back, Gscience but it sounds like you are doing the best you can around your injury. Just be sure not to overdo!

Great work completing (almost) 100 pilates classes, Springroz!

I am trying to be less focused on my weight also. I feel like it works against me day to day-- either I feel like a failure or I go to extremes to "feel successful". I will weigh -- but not nearly as often.

I haven't been all that hungry lately -- lots going on but also just not that interested in food at the moment. I am sure that will change quickly lol.. but it is good for me to recognize when I am not, in fact, hungry.

It is really pretty out right now-- right at the golden hour. I am going to cut this short and go for a walk!

Gscience - sorry you fell! Ugh, but it does sound like you are recuperating well! Hope it's a quick recovery from here on. Springroz - amazing Pilates consistency! That must feel fantastic! Funky- I hope you enjoyed your walk. We have been having lovely weather here as well, so I have been forcing myself to go along on the morning dog walks. Always glad I went, it's a good way to start the day.

I had a good week mostly. Lots of walks, three good pickleball days, and three full body weight trainings. I have a great setup in my basement now that will allow me to progress through the winter and a goal to be strong to ski in February, so that should keep me motivated and moving forward.

I'm still thinking about my bloodwork, nothing was alarming, but I was hopeful for some different numbers. But looking back honestly over the past few months I can see I wasn't really changing much up. So, I do have a couple tweaks I'm going to work on and see where I get. Mostly more fruits and vegetables, more water, more weight lifting, and some targeted supplements. I'm terrible at taking vitamins of any sort, but there is a theme in my bloodwork which might be helped with a couple additions.

But, in the big picture, I am grateful for my good health so far in life, grateful for the mental health and mood boost eating well and exercising gives me, and grateful for my body which is getting stronger and allowing me to enjoy the activities I love. Can't let myself get down in the weeds too far :)

I told my club owner (who is a tiny blonde from WI) I am the product of many generations of farm breeding. LOL. People who worked. People who immigrated in order to work even harder. Survival of the fittest. Consequently, I am stocky, with strong, heavy bones. Would I LOVE to be built like Milania Trump or Kate Middleton? Yes, but I am grateful to be 64 and still kicking!
