The visit with Theresa went well. She chose to have a visit atb her daughter’s home.

As soon as I saw Faith’s ranch I thought, no way can/or will she leave her horses! Could Gerry fit in to this lifestyle?

Leslie chose a commercial venue for her meeting. Why not a home? Of the three, she looked like she could move to Gerry’s home town the easiest.

He professed love for all three.

And they for him. Coming from the women, it felt almost needy and desperate.

The most awkward to watch was that he gave the first rose to Leslie but couldn't give the second. Imagine even if you were the final you would always remember how torn he was. Yet, he was able to quickly choose Leslie.

this made me laugh out loud. not only will faith never leave her horses, she will spend more time with them than she will with him. i'd love to see his reaction the first time she puts a manure fork in his hands. THAT will be the litmus test! 😂

It made me uncomfortable that he professed love to all 3 of them. There's no way that happens in a month's time. Maybe with one person, but not three. I'm guessing he was just being kind. I'm sure he's dreading saying goodbye to 2 of them.

I agree. He could have said his feelings without saying the word love.

I think that maybe there was more interaction that we didn't see.

I think once the finale airs, there will be lots of follow up all the women as well and Gerry.

I would, but can't afford the vet bills! I used to hop the fence to the pasture next door and scoop up "patties" by the buckets full and put that in my compost. In fall I would pile it on the veggie garden and till it in and then pile on some more. By Spring it was awesome. I cannot hop fences anymore - sigh...and the scooping kills me. Raking too. I used to clean out people's stalls and barns...no more doing that either. The thing is, it leaches out as fast as I can pile it on. If I could lasagna all year round, it would be best, but that is almost impossible for me to do anymore. Thanks for the suggestion though. I will TRY to do that again. That is all I can do - right? Clouds still building and flying over us and no rain, at least not here. It just goes elsewhere and rains. While watching the Chris Mathews show yesterday on MSNBC I saw that it was raining like crazy outside his window. I was so envious! Tomorrow we will pull the old well pump and replace it and that will help. At least I will be able to run the water all day long without it continuously shutting off. Running up and down the stairs to the basement all day long every day to flip it back on has just worn me out. I am glad you got a little rain. Here are some pics of my peaches that I managed to get thru this heat. Water, water, water. Peaches and Gird Grapes - it took a lot of work but got some grapes too. These were grown from a cutting, the original vine was from my GG-Grandfather Gird's vines in California. It was named for him. (Girdii) I am proud to have them growing for me. Tasty little grapes. Grannie made jam with hers. I don't get enough for jam, so just enjoy them fresh. Today I am going to be canning peaches and tomatoes again. One of my big Beefsteak tomatoes. Yummy!

This is the first Bachelor I have watched since Trista and Ryan. It is kind of like watching a soap opera. My Aunt got me hooked this season. Last night I think he let the best one go. He didn't pick Naomi and it was more than likely the dead dove incident. I wouldn't pick Molly because that whole hat deal at her parents was a bit much for me. Melissa? I am undecided about her. He is hung up on not meeting her parents I think. Get over it...it isn't their style to be on national tv. But I think I will be pulling for her now. Him? I don't find him that attractive. And if he goes with DeAnna from the last season, I will be disappointed. She had her chance (I didn't watch that one) and she is coming back around because her choice on that one didn't work out? Hit the road Jack.

Furniture with my kid (grown) in mind stays fairly basic. And most of the time he just doesn't care about style, more his personality than interest. The big deal is having one chair that is his alone. A bed and dresser, plus a desk for computer stuff. The desk usually ends up in the livingroom or the dining area in apts. Not even sure if they use a dining table. And as other's mentioned less is more for the single guy. I really like the simple lines in the photos from the link. Once he gets into an apt. (which probably can't be painted), perhaps a shopping trip for linens, dishes together. He really needs to be part of this since it will be his place. If you could get him on a couple of the shopping sites, let him identify patterns/color in bedding, etc. May help to identify colors ahead of time. But for a guy I see gray/red with the couch. You are wonderful to do this for him. When my son got his first apartment it was Target for essentials, we did in in one shopping trip. I was able to give him furniture, but the one thing that has stayed with him through the years was the darn reclining leather chair with separate foot stool. I doubt if this will ever go away. Have two Army kids, but ask if your Marine wants a "Love ME" wall. If you know of anything he has pertaining to his enlisted time...pics, medals, uniform....this is their wall. They should be framed and created into a single area. I framed half dozen important photos and a deep frame for his top coat, added flag that says "Proud to have Served" with a number of other items of meaning to him which can't be framed sitting on a shelf below. Secretly, I think all soldiers go for this (they're the ones that named it). Thier admission to such usually happens when one least expects it. My oldest son is in Kuwait right now. Other served in Desert storm. Remember to thank the soldiers personally when you happen to see one. They don't hear it much and are truely thankful when a stranger hands them this small acknowledgement.

I'm kind of surprised at many of the comments above. I haven't watched the show, so I have only the advance commercials that I saw to judge it by. But I thought he came across as very conceited and egotistical in those commercials. And the women? Cheap and tawdry in spite of fancy clothes and heavy make-up. No, I don't watch any of the Bachelor or Bachelorette shows, so maybe that is a too harsh judgement. I tried to watch one or two a couple of times, but the whole idea of them seems almost kind of sick to me. That's just my opinion, of course, apparently a lot of people do like that sort of show, as they seem to go on and on and on. Rusty

They all had such nice families. I don’t know if his daughters live near him, but if they do, I can’t imagine him moving away, nor can I picture the women moving far from their families Although his grandaughters are grown so remaining close by for grandkids (like the women may want to do) may not be a big consideration for him.

This is almost painful to watch. I agree he should not have declared his love for all of the women. It will make moving forward so much more difficult for all. And as far as who will move, I cannot even imagine how that will work out. I certainly cannot imagine moving away from my family for a man. I lost my DH 18 months ago after a 20 year illness so this kinda hits home for me. Just a big NOPE. LOL

@girlnamedgalez8a i agree, it's painful to watch. he seems like a nice guy but when push comes to shove, are any of these participants really ready to pull up stakes and move away from their families? i just don't see it happening.

i'm sorry for the loss of your husband. mine has been gone for 16 years now, after a 2 year illness. i can't imagine moving away from his family, who i remain very close to. not to mention, i could never move away from my son and his family! i can't remember which woman it was but one of them sees her grandkids every day. i doubt she's thinking about packing her bags!

Maybe he’s willing to move? I can’t imagine they haven’t all had that conversation with him. And why it was important to see how he might fit in.

And….on one of Gerry’s interviews he mentions important considerations as one gets older. Do they go to church. Leslie is Jewish.

I'm in an interfaith marriage and there are so many levels.
