I confess, every time I'm stuck in a boring meeting, conference or lecture, I take out a notepad (I have a little 3"x5" notebook in my purse) or my logbook and pretend to take notes from the speakers comments, but what I really do is make notes of things I want to plant, change or rearrange in my garden. I make sketches of things I want to do and lists of chores for DH to do. (well you didn't think he made his own chore list did you?) I guess if my mind isn't being challenged enough by things going on around me, I just mentally slide into gardening mode. Best part of my day! Cheryl

I've decided to go with Prestige 54" to go over new 48" Capital Culinarian. That will be paired with a 1600CFM remote (roof mounted) blower). That's a bit over powered but I'd rather go over than under since I do a lot of stir-fry and saute. Also plan to do some grilling on the new range.

Ah I always check out these postings. I've found some excellent reads thanks to my fellow book lovers on this site. Right now I have a few suggestions that I have just finished or am on the final pages of: The Potato Factory - Bryce Courtenay (been out a few years and just discovered in the library reject pile) House of Spirits and Whispers - Annie Wilder . This is the true story of a haunted house. Is it scary...no, but as I love old houses and things that go bump in the night I liked it for a change of pace. Alone in the classroom - Elizabeth Hay. Half way done and am liking it well enough but wonder about all the hype. Those are my offerings this time around. Budster
