baver - you completely missed my point which is not surprising given the axe you have to grind over Electrolux. I said, it is disingenuous to draw conclusions across an entire line based on one specific appliance. No manufacturer is strong across the entire range of appliances, which is why it makes sense IMo to mix and match. To take your and a few others problems with the Electrolux refrigerator and say Electrolux ovens and all other Electrolux appliances are terrible is foolhardy. So you cherry picked a few threads - but comparing refrigerator experiences to oven experiences is a fool's game. And the one you listed dealing with ovens had comments from two people on it - no more. Yet you ignored threads (like the one I posted) where people were happy with their Electrolux ovens. Look, it is obvious to any objective observer here you have a major bias which doesn't help anyone. As to me, I don't own an Electrolux appliance (although I did consider the range) so I don't have any bias and no horse in the race(I just bought a Miele DW, Bluestar range, Independent Hood and Samsung Refrigerator).

Ive installed Thermosoft floor heating mats several times in the past ( I am a contractor). I donÂt remember any problems with them, even with support. The first time I installed it 5 years ago at my friendÂs house in couple bathrooms and kitchen. It still works fine and he is very happy with his warm floor. Unfortunately, there are no systems in the world that are 100% fail-proof. Anything can fail. Even Toyota, which is one of the most reliable car manufacturers, has recalls... I did have several failures with Suntouch and Warmly Yours in the past, the same with Nuheat. And those are very expensive! I don't know why... But sometimes, the failure happens because of mistakes during installation, which is hard to admit... I had to fire one of my workers after I found that he dropped a very heavy tool on the heating wire, nicked it and continued installation... After such thing the system may easily fail after a few months in that spot... However, I would definitely stay away from Floorheatech ( who also works under easywarmfloor.com, heatingonline.com, heavenly-heat.com, etc). They got "F" in BBB for the reason and I truly had a very bad experience with them several times. I would also avoid Warming Systems, which is a very small company, buying their heaters somewhere in Eastern Europe without UL approval and mostly doing business on ebay... I hope this helps.

What about a valance that is to your liking and then roller shades beneath them? Now don't think of the nasty roller shades that were in your gradeschool when you were a kid. There is a nice selection on Bali's website. Roller shades would hide discreetly behind your valance when you don't need it. You can get scalloped edges if you like and/or they can be trimmed with beads, braid trim or "gimp" (a braidlike trim). Bali will send you free swatches and they have a My Decorator tool that lets you "try out" the color/fabrication options with your decor colors in the room.
