I love the look of your garage! I am not sure what trim you are talking about because the trim upstairs already looks black to me. What am I missing? Can you explain?

What color is the house going to be? I'd be inclined to do a third color for the trim but without knowing the house color, hard to say. Our house used to be lavender with white trim and black windows and I loved the contrast of the white trim with the black windows against the purple.

I would not paint the trim on the house black. I think it would make the house look squat. But since you are going to have a back door and a black screen, paint the trim around the door back too! It will increase the focus on the door.

I like your idea of painting the doors, house trim, and upper bedroom windows trim black. I would leave the trim around the windows white since your windows are black. I think you made the right call on the rain gutters being white. I just like the rain gutters to blend in. Your house is very cute.

Be careful painting that door black. It appears to be a steel door and you very well may destroy it depending on the exposure, especially since there is a storm door in front of it.

Do the door, then stop and post another pic so we can see what it looks like. It might be enough to just have the black door trim. When you say trim on the top of the house, do you mean just around the windows or the pointed dormer peaks too? Because of the scale of your house, I'd be concerned they would look like eyebrows!

IMO all trim th same color and not sure the black is the right choice you have black windows I think this fine You do need some form of cover for guests maybe a black metal and glass awning and I agree if that is a metal door you should have ordered it in black. I think landscpaing is the thing that needs some real work . You will now have all winter to plan that and you can always paint the trim next spring after all the landcaping is done it you think it is needed.Why is there no driveway to the garage ?I think the back door neededs to be black. A nice new walkway to the front door is the first step.

It needs some actual real color. Like a red or blue front door. And a deep forest green or bronze trim. Not the harshness of black. The black garage door is already way too much black, and will give you issues moving forward.
