I had this happen a few years ago but it happened again yesterday. Finished eating lunch and the side of my face swelled up from below ear down my neck. Took aspirin and applied hot compress to it. Didn't hurt and swelling went down. Got home and ate dinner and it swelled up again.
I massaged area, took more aspirin and used hot compress again.
This morning I ate breakfast and luckily I didn't swell up. No pain but just feeling like ear has wax in it even though it doesn't.
Went to ear doctor last time and I'm doing what he instructed. Just have to wait for blockage to work it's way out.
Anyone here ever experienced this?
