Comments (3)The adhesion failed for some reason. Sand the door to smooth. Wash it with ammonia and water mix, rinse and dry with towel. Remove the door and lay it out or hang it through the bored hole. Spray prime it with at least two coats of rust preventative primer. After that is dry, two coats of 100% acrylic latex paint with a foam roller should produce a nice finish or you can spray paint it with an enamel of your choice. Make sure it's a quality enamel. Comments (8)I agree with eliminating the shutters. They don't fit the windows or the style of the home correctly. I would change the upper door to a solid painted the same color as the house body to make it disappear and add a great color to the front door. I would also paint the garage door in a darker color that is the same as the house body. I think you could use the original railing and replace the posts and paint the whole thing in a bronze tone to match the roof. I would also power wash the roof and concrete and change the furniture on the patio to something a bit more modern. Add taller matching pots to the brick pedestals on either side of the door and create a walkway from the garage to the front of the house. Then trim up and clean up the landscaping, including the rock edging. If that's asphalt that abuts the porch, I agree with removing it and replacing it with sod....See MorePlease help me find a rug! 7 fails in a row- I need help!
Comments (2)Do you have any of the original carpet left over. When we got new carpeting there was some left over and we had the carpet company bind it and put it in the foyer....See MoreKendrah
