I just bought a Broan 255048 medicine cabinet from Kitchen Sources online. It is one of those tri view, mirrored 48" x 28" recessed medicine cabinets with steel interior. It has been nothing but problems with customer service. They first shipped it to completely wrong state and delivered it! They didn't catch it I did! But they don't actually have the units they have distributor ship them and the cusomer service staff in not good and the supervisor is awful and the partners who own it aren't around. Also I contacted Broan who gave me a name and number of one of their biggest retailers who has good reputation since Broan never heard of Kitchen Sources. Warehouse Depot at 1-800-868-8663 and they don't use Fedex to deliver since 90% of the time it arrives damaged they freight it at a higher cost to me about$73.00. I also tried to post warning reviews and their Amazon.com site will not let you post a review! I also tried to post a review and the supervisor stopped it. I realize now that the reason all the reviews are good on this at their site is they jerry pick them! This company also has other ventures and one of it does Funnel searching. This is where they track what sites you went to before coming to their site and track the sites where you went to after for marketing purposes. This really makes me feel very uncomfortable and I want to give others heads up on this company from my perspective.

What hinge do you have? Compact blumotion? Google 38C315B3 restriction clip. I went through this for my frameless cabinets, but ended up having to get new Blum hinges and the clips. I never found white ones though. You could always call Blum, too, to see what they suggest. I ordered mine through Rockler. Cabinetparts.com is a good resource too.

We have a single sink in a 45 inch wide vanity and chose the Kohler Verdera 40" x 30" with 3 doors. We also inset it which was very easy to do and the quality is real good. Just remember one thing. If you are going with a taller faucet, make sure the cabinet doors will clear the faucet, both when turned off and on. That applies to any size cabinet and seems like a no brainer. But even after discussing it, our contractor's workers managed to screw that up and we had to go hunting for a shorter faucet or start re-doing drywall again.

I believe you should look for "gangable" medicine cabinets if you want multiple cabinets to work together. I'm planning to do 2 Robern PL series cabinets to make an approx 36" span of med cab above a 40"-ish long vanity in a small bathroom. This involves buying a robern 49.99 ganging kit to combine them (that's the list price, not the price actually paid on the ganging kit). That's the only gangable/modular Robern series I can fit into my budget (comes to $660 including ganging kit, not including tax). Slightly cheaper option #2 was a Kohler Verdera 2 door, 34" one piece med cab (cost is $440). I believe the Kohler Catalan line of med cabs are gangable, but too tall for my bathroom and would be pricey like the Roberns anyway. My hall bathroom currently has a mirror that spans the width of the vanity but it's very impractical (for me) not to have the storage of the medicine cabinets there. I could live with just one medicine cabinet, but I prefer more mirror. But yeah, medicine cabinets can get pricey.
