Carrara Marble Island and White Quartz Perimeter - Yay or Nay?

So is it a terrible idea to have Carrara Marble (honed) or Calacatta Miele installed for the kitchen island and full backsplash, with white Quartz for the perimeters (given that the "whites" are not the same)? For now, to make it a littler simpler (if that's possible when it comes to choosing countertops ;-) there will not be any other major competing whites (unless you count the ceiling and trim which are SW Pure White). Any other recommendations for a solid white durable slab for perimeters (doesn't have to be Quartz necessarily)? Attached is a photo of some samples side by side, and an inspirational photo (I know, sorry, it's a bathroom, but I couldn't find a lot for the look I'm kind of going for (cabinetry is a warm wood, hardware black). I've also attached photos of the White Carrara slab and Carrara Miele slab. Any help and advice would be very much appeciated - many thanks!
