I placed an order with a tropical plant site last night. They say they have Miracle Fruit plants, and they are $35. I'll be interested to see what actually arrives, an I'll keep everyone posted. They need to learn about Search Engine Optimization. They never came up when I was looking a few nights ago. I cam across them by accident, while looking for an Acai. I may as well get all of the fad fruits while I am interested. DH actually isn't that worried, I think he is just surprised that I found a guy to be buddies with this time. This is the same behavior I displayed when I got into quilting ten years ago. I went nuts, bought everything I could find, and dragged him to every quilt shop I could find when we were on vacation. The only big change is that I am dirtier now, and if I neglect my stuff it dies. I don't hear too many complaints from him when he sits on the sofa, wrapped in a quilt, eating home grown cucumber salad. Jen

A friend of mine had a luxury vinyl floor installed in her kitchen (not Amtico). She had several issues with the product sticking to the subfloor. It was determined that the wrong adhesive was used. The dealer is replacing the floor. And while the dealer is doing the right thing, the homeowner is having to go to the trouble of having the floor installed a second time. My recommendation is that you as the homeowner try to get a copy of the manufacturer's recommended installation method and be familiar with the process as much as possible. Try to verify that the proper adhesive, etc. is being utilized. In my area, Amtico is a seldom purchased product, so installers seldom get experience installing it. It is a beautiful product - I once considered it for my home. What I remember is that it is a upper end product and therefore infrequently sold.

Hi - we bought a Bertazonni 30 inch range when we re-did our kitchen earlier this year - installed it in May - and I love it. I'm not a baker, so I can't speak to that, but I cook ALL the time, and it's behaved like a dream. I'm in my early 60s, so I've owned/used many different ranges in my lifetime, and I would say without hesitation that I would buy this very model again. (I believe it's their least expensive 30 inch.) I'm roasting a large pork shoulder as I type this. I, too, read lots of negative reviews before purchasing this range, and was halfway expecting to get to know a service repair person well, but we've had not a single issue after constant use these past 6.5 months. Best of luck with your decision, if I'm not already too late.

go to Lowes. they have actual sparkle additives for paint. I have used it. just ask the paint person and they'll show it to you. this is more subtle. And will also be easier to paint over. if you want it really glittery, then try this one The chunkier it is, the harder it's going to be to cover it. So think about that for down the road. I used one of those textured paints in my sons room years ago. I'll have to get it professionally scraped if I ever want it smooth again!
