You've been told you can't have any of your favorite foods. Now what?

Yep. My gut thing is figured out and I can't have anything but fruits and vegetables, with chicken, pork, and beef.

What got removed? My favorites. Milk, eggs, nuts, fish, seafood (and flour). Which I would live on exclusively if I could. Fish/seafood are expensive when one lives inland.

I'm not a bread person, and can use corn starch, etc. so flour can be easily eliminated. Over the last three or four years, I realized I was guzzling milk and have gotten down to four ounces a serving once or twice a day. But that doesn't account for butter or cheese. And I guess I can settle for a steak instead of scallops. I only use nuts sparingly.

I'm at a loss for bigger steps. I did just try an oatmilk mocha for a treat, and that was a good non-dairy swap. What tips and tricks can you share?
