I think the railings might be nice in the same color as the trim, door in Knight's armor.

Railings the same color as the white trim, door could be more fun like grass green, aqua, etc.

It looks like your house color is similar to ours. We used white for railings etc. but black for house and garage doors (see picture below taken last fall...)

The porch floor is a gray color.

We chose our colors based on the colors used on a historical house in the old part of our town. It was simple and goes well with most other things. I think it would work well for your place.

The black steps seem too dark for the space. Your inspiration photo seems to really focus on the plants, allowing the steps and deck to blend into the background as a single color.

If we use white trim color, I love the idea of a fun door color. Hallett & Co, can you suggest some specific grass green and or aqua colors? I found PPG Tarryton. Is this similar to what you have in mind?

AD, I agree that the step color is too dark for the house, but I’m not sure what we can do about that pre stained deck color now. Any ideas? Are you suggesting that if we stain or paint the railings the Knight’s Armor fascia trim color that the deck might tend to disappear into the foliage more than if we paint it white?

Woodyoak, thanks for your photos. Our colors are similar and your white railings look great with the black doors. Helpful to see that.
