Farmhouse sink in bathroom vanity? Yay or Nay?
Comments (1)Nice tile choices! I prefer the vanity in the center; the grey toned stone top that isn't a farmhouse style. The sconces are pretty, but I agree the shades are a little heavy. I've posted some alternatives below. Good luck! Comments (3)Fresca Mezzo 60 vanities are actually 59" wide and available with and without a sink. The sinks are made of "acrylic resin". I have Fresca vanities with those the acrylic tops. I don't know what the proper cleaning product is but I figure it shouldn't be abrasive -- the material is shiny -- so I use Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Multi-Surface. The Fresca Largo 57 is 56 5/8" wide. decorplanet.com, among others, sells Fresca vanities....See More42” wide 3/4 bathroom yay or nay
Comments (4)Our bathroom is 4 x 8. To save floor space, we have a heavy glass bypass shower door. Although I am not usually a fan of pocket doors, we needed to use one, again to save floor space. This enabled us to have a full size vanity and Toto toilet. We, unlike California, have no permits or inspections in my county. We did not build this bathroom, but we remodeled it. Lay out each component using blue painter’s tape on the floor. You will see how we could fit a full size vanity by using the pocket door....See More42” bathroom yay or nay.
Comments (13)We did this two years ago in the same situation. It is great! :) Our shower is the same size and feels plenty big. Wall-hung toilets can help with the clearance--our city requires 24" clear. What is on the other sides of the long wall? I might also explore poaching or rebalancing space depending on what's there and whether those walls are load-bearing. If you post a floor plan, people may have suggestions....See More- 3 years ago
