Family Room Furniture Help
Comments (1)yeah! you did not wait too long! you should not put your tv over you fp! that is very bad for back and neck and with such variation in size more than one will be affected. most do not recommend a sectional, especially with your ages i think it would be so. the sectional rarely seats as many as you believe it should. noone not even brothers and sisters want to snuggle up close all the time. I recommend a couch and appropriate sized chairs as needed. right now, things like large floor pillows and poufs would probably be best....See MoreFamily room furniture help!
Comments (1)Hello! I am in the process of buying new family room furniture. I am not sure qhat combo to get! Background - It is the most used room with TV. The room is about 20 feet long and 11 feet wide.I also have 3 kids currently 6, 5, and 1! Due to my husbands job we will eventually move(could be 1 year could be 6 or 7) so i need an arrangement that would work in various family room configurations. Thoughts, 1 sofa and 2 chairs, sofa and loveseat, sofa, recliner, and chair? Any ottomans?Would like most of the seating to have view of tv. I likely won't get a reclining sofa as it takes up a lot of floor space when out (my kids often on floor). For price range I am looking at England and craftmaster (maybe the revolution fabric or similair), around 2000-2500 price range but possibly flexible. Any furniture advice is helpful!...See Moreliving room/family room furniture help
Comments (4)A much larger rug that goes under the front legs of your chairs would be great, plus it wouldn't move around. Floor or table lamps make a seating area more welcoming. You could use a large low coffee table. You have room over the fireplace for a bold artwork - remove all the little ornaments. You have wall space for a wide tv console, with doors for concealed storage. I'd keep those pillows for holiday display, and have something more elegant for day to day....See Morefamily room furniture help
Comments (2)A red patterned rug would look nice there, and add color and pizzaz to your neutrals....See MoreJAN MOYER
