Does anyone recognize this?
Comments (7)Hmmm. I see the picture. It is a euphorbia species. Another one of those plants people have labeled stonecrop. Remember the milky sap? Spreads by stolons underground, so watch out. Seems to have been a common cultivated plant in the 1940's, at least in the area around Ely, MN. In my treks in the woods I have come across this plant still thriving near several remains of log cabins from that era. Very drought tolerant. Rick...See MoreWhat hosta does anyone think this is?
Comments (11)back in the day ... 1960s or 70s ... if not further back .....they thought elegans was a species .... and came true from seed ... it wasnt.. and it didnt ... thought they all were blue ... and very similar ... they were seedlings of elegans.. and not elegans ... teager thinks calling them a 'seed strain' is one way to think of it .... so its very hard to know if elegans even technically exists .. let alone if anyones big bad blue is actually elegans ... clearer??? ... lol... maybe not ... ken...See MoreDoes anyone recognize the names of these slabs?
Comments (2)Thank you. Some people may have the slabs and may recognize them, and I did say that I will test the slabs. It is quite a drive for me to get to the stoneyard. Will be testing tomorrow, but that does not help me with names. And I still don't know whether Quartz will scratch glass or crumble....See MoreDoes anyone recognize this furniture/fabric print?
Comments (13)hi waltonglade. I saw your photos and did a doubletake I have been sleeping on a Drexel Heritage couch the last few days. Dad and mom bought it in the 70's (?) and its totally comfortable. The print is very similar but a little smaller, maybe a different revision of the same pattern. It is maybe 8'. I'm almost 6' and can lay on it unencumbered by the arms. I have a few other Drexel pieces as well as Ethan Allen and Drexel bedroom sets and dining room set. I don't know how this website works but I'll try to take a picture for you. If it doesn't work or if you want more, send me your email address. My email is bgunder638@gmail.com. Always happy to be a blessing ✨ Brian...See Morehosta_maker
