Does anyone recognize this?

I can't remember if this is a plant someone gave me or if it sprouted voluntarily. The tiny flowers are a beautiful lime green and the leaves are similar to a succulent. It's about a foot tall. Here's my first attempt to upload a picture (keeping fingers crossed) :-) {{gwi:764083}}

Thank you so much for the excellent suggestions! I'm not sure that it is Climbing Iceberg, it looks a little different. The buds do have a bit of pink on them. The rose is about 7' tall, has a mild fragrance and hardly any thorns. It is almost leafless now because it had blackspot and a lot of them fell off. The rose has been there for at least 25 years, probably closer to 40. The rose is in my daughter's garden in Victoria, BC (2 days drive), so I didn't know about the blackspot. She has now fertilized and watered it! Jays

Great idea... it was definitely home-bred. I was just curious if there was a way to figure out the parentage (I don't know anything about hybridizing hydrangeas but just assume you would cross for features you wanted, like the color or size or ... scalloped sepals. If I root one of the lavender branches (either anchoring to the ground to root, or cutting and rooting), am I likely to get the serrated lavender blooms on the rooted offspring?

Who knows how they classify the ones that look similar?

Hmmm. I see the picture. It is a euphorbia species. Another one of those plants people have labeled stonecrop. Remember the milky sap? Spreads by stolons underground, so watch out. Seems to have been a common cultivated plant in the 1940's, at least in the area around Ely, MN. In my treks in the woods I have come across this plant still thriving near several remains of log cabins from that era. Very drought tolerant.

Euphorbia cyparissias, also called cypress spurge. My sister gave me a piece of this last year, and it is living up to its reputation...though it hasn't been there long enough to be frightening yet!
Very pretty in spring when the foliage emerges all purple and red, then the yellow flowers...

My E.cyparissias is frightening! Came back this spring with a vengenace....in the lawn and everywhere. Been digging and killing like a crazy person. I now have it confined to a 3 gallon container, buried in the ground. Hope this stops it from invading nearby towns and villages. I really like its foliage and would like to keep it....we will see.
