Someone may need to hear this today.

There will be days, my friend...

When you feel like you just can’t go on.

Just keep swimming.

Breathe in and breathe out and wait for the light of a new day to dawn.

There will be days, my friend...

When nothing seems to be making sense.

It’s not supposed to.

Clear your mind and open your heart, the answers will come in time.

There will be days, my friend...

When the pain rises up and engulfs you.

Be kind to yourself.

Lay low and let the tears flow like a river, release, open the floodgates, let it out.

There will be days my friend...

When it feels like the whole world is against you. When it feels like you cannot do right for doing wrong.

Just sit it out.

Tomorrow is a new day, and these feelings will pass. I promise.

You see, life is all things, from one day to the next.

It is beautiful at times, wondrous, amazing and joyful - then it is awful, miserable and heart-breaking.

And the cycle goes around.

It is as it should be.

Everything is as it should be and you, you will be okay.

Have faith.

Keep hope in your heart.

Tomorrow is a new day.

Clearly, there are two points of view on this: people who LOVE perfumy scents on their clothing, and those who hate it. I’m in the second camp. As a lifelong singer in choirs and glee clubs, we are almost always told,”Do NOT wear strong deodorants or colognes etc.” either at rehearsals or performances. With all the deep breathing we need to perform, it’s awful to get a lungful of scent, which can set off coughing fits or sneezing. I can handle the next tenor’s sweat, but not a pine forest or sandalwood. Our lungs were not designed to function optimally in strong chemical odors. If you like the smells, that’s fine. Do not make the decision for me to smell your odor of choice, please.

Carol, I was thinking the same thing but it needs to be a color that won't reflect which will be hard to do since it has to be on the inside. I'm going to look at my old placemat stash and see if I can use some. Or cardboard. Lynn, I'll make sure to tell you if the bird needs professional help. lol Jrb, are those little holes from the bird? My first thought is get a spray bottle and fix the nozzle in a stream, mixing water and some concoction that would taste bad on his beak. Mild hot sauce? lol Is it an every day thing?

Nicole that tofu looks delish!! I made a Greek-ish feast for Dad and hubs. Greek style potato salad with green and yellow wax beans, balsamic evoo dressing. Another salad with cucumbers, lemon juice and sour cream and chives, similar to Tzatziki but without the mint. Lamb chops for the boys. Lemon yogurt cake for dessert with fresh strawberry topping. The lemon cake was meh. I think there was a typo in the recipe. It was a cake that called for a sugar syrup poured over it after it was baked, and the syrup only called for 1 tsp. lemon juice. That meant no flavor, even though I used a TBLSP and also some orange zest. I think it was supposed to be lemon flavoring oil. . . . We're not Greek but love Greek food. The lamb chops made me think Greek and I had the yogurt for the cake and needed to use it up. I've had better lemon cakes, to be sure . . .
