Blooming on Sunday

It's been a week since any meaningful rain. It's really getting dry again. Bob is watering around the clock.

Chico Tim had it ffo today.

Patricia Ann's Calliopsis is not looking as bitoned as she usually does.

Rocky Top had its ffo today.

Spacecoast Nails and Lipstick had a decent flower open today. I am not sure I like it. The color is rather harsh and the texture is like plastic. It looked a lot prettier in the hybridizer's pictures. But I bought it for breeding. I hope it sets seeds.

School Bus had its ffo today.

We have enjoyed seeing Sky High Butterfly. It was planted last season and its stats are pretty close to the registered stats. It seems to like our garden.

Tidewater Elf had its ffo today. Soon it will be covered in blooms. It is a great grower and fast increaser here.

I wish Wispy Rays were about a foot taller. It's such a large bloom that it needs a taller scape.

For the first time ever (I think), the seedling Queen of the Garden is a Fulva offspring. This is ((Fulva Korean X Empire of Dawn and Dusk) X (Bodacious Bite X Gaudeamus)) X Una de Gato. We were amazed at the clear pink color and watermark.

That's all for me.

Nancy
