I forgot to post this picture. I thought you might want to see a photo of a seedling bed. The seeds for this bed were made in 2021. They were refrigerated until late January 2022 when we started to plant them. We keep them under lights in the basement. They go outside in April and then were planted in the ground in June. This first year bed (as I call it) is always eager to bloom. We start seeing scapes here before most of the rest of the garden.

As always, the yellows have me today. I love that photo of Sky High Butterfly-it looks like itis flying over all the rest! School Bus is very intense in color and if I have that color combo, that is what I want. The seedling is amazing and deserves Queen status.

Yes, another worthy queen. Mussar's picture of Sky High is a much lighter yellow. Isn't it early for Chico to be blooming? Wispy Rays here too not yet blooming. Maybe you are a slightly warmer zone.

I really like your Fulva seedling. Is it highly budded? Looks like a winner to me. I also like Wispy Rays.

Wow you two sure do a lot of seedlings. I can't imagine doing all that and keeping track of everything the way you do.

Chico Tim and School Bus are my picks today. Both of those must look fantastic in groups or clumps. Amazing that the Fulva seedling is a pink with a watermark and some edge!

Mantis, it does seem a little early for Chico Tim. Sky High Butterfly is much prettier than the picture in the database.

Brad, I am not sure of the bud count on the fulva seedling. We generally never count until the third blooming. This is just its first bloom ever.

Debra, we are getting many clear colors, including pink, out of the fulva lines. We attribute that to using Empire of Dawn and Dusk, which seems to clarify colors.
