It is definitely peak week here

It seems peak arrived fast and there are lates still left to bloom but the peak color splash is here.

The front bed is shown most often because it had the least damage although there are lots of clumps in here with no scapes this year

Tahiti Sweetie

Royal Girls and Mean Green

Blushing Escapade

Fried Green Tomatoes

And yes, Mister Mayor again-from today-just a bloom machine

Stardust Dragon-forgive the mushies-too wet to get in this bed

Mister Green Jeans

Evidence of Aliens

Rose Pink Sparkle with hand to show the size of this bloom

And Ruby Star Sapphire-my least favorite form but it is another consistent bloomer

The garden shot just looks glorious! You would never know that some of them don't have scapes. I love Royal Girls. What rich color! When did you get that one? You have quite a few Davissons now, don't you? Blushing Escapade looks wonderful. The one you sent me has scapes on two of the fans now. It may be blooming by the weekend. Mister Mayor is just wonderful, isn't it? That's my favorite Davisson. Mine will start blooming a bit later this year than in the past.

Rose Pink Sparkle I see is another Reimer. Is it short this year? How much rain have you had recently, as you say it is too wet to get into the bed?

That was a wonderful tour Renee. Everything is so lush...just my kind of garden. Well, now that I'm a day late and a dollar short....read it all. Love furniture, fireplace not so much (get rid of that black scroll - it's too much for the brick) also all that brick is throwing me off. You had one idea with the wood surround on the brick, it was medium color wood and it softened the brick also with the mantel. Love 2nd picture for over mantel, very pretty. Love the lamps with some gold in them but not the shade, just doesn't go. The busy metals I would say is a no in the lamps, personally I am not fond of that look in there. Rug looks like a nice size, I think smaller isn't a good choice. I even like the colors, they are calm. It is a very comfortable room, may I come and sit a spell? Tables,I don't have a clue on them. You're coming along and I think it's good when you can look through other's eyes.....others pick up on things that you yourself never even thought of. I think we are very fortunate that we have so many wonderful designers here that give so willingly of their time to help out with ideas. I believe they get a round of applause.

What a nice display your lillies are putting on. A pretty setting with the Clematis in the background......Your lavenders and purple daylilies just sing to me. Mantis, Rose Pink Sparkle is indeed short this year. You can see the short scapes in the background.

Debra, I do have several Davissons. They are almost unbeatable for me in scapes and buds. I have had Royal Girls three years. It has multiplied well. Mister Mayor is wonderful, blooming and blooming! I am excited Blushing Escapade has scaped for you. Hopefully some decent blooms will appear! And yes, that front bed makes me smile every day, especially when I look at the other bloomless beds!

It’s hard to believe you have had problems in your gardens, such a wonderful garden shot! So many nice group shots too, love the photos with Mr. Mayor and Royal Girls.

Hope the cows and deer stay away, I want yo see more!

Thank you Sherry. This garden, other than the few beds around my house, is the survivor. The others are toast!! With all our storms every day, I had to put out more deer deterrent today. I hope you are feeling better.

Everything looks beautiful Your Fried Evidence of Aliens is a neat bloom; different. Love your combo of Rpyal Girls and Mean Green. Mr. Mayor is fabulous, Gorgeous garden shot with all the colors. what a nice post!

Mr. Mayor is a luscious purple color and Rose Pink sparkle has such a pretty bloom. The garden shot looks like a riot of color........... I guess we will all compare notes on Blushing Pink Escapade. Mantis's picture during the Alphabet posts caused me to buy it just when I thought I was home free from adding any more to my list..............Maryl
