Concrete vanity top and sink alternative

Hi all - I have fallen in love with this look for a vanity with concrete top and integrated sink for a primary bath. The more I read, though, the more it seems like concrete counters are a bad idea for maintenance and durability. I've seen recommendations for concrete-looking solid surface materials for countertops, but can't figure out how to get the thicker-looking counters and integral/integrated sinks that concrete allows. Can anyone offer:

Specific vanities with tops that have this look,
concrete-look solid surface vanity tops or vanity top materials that allow integrated sinks
personal experience with concrete vanity tops - have materials improved in the last decade? What did you choose, what did you regret?

Corian can easily create that look. Completely non porous and NSF certified. You just need a great local Corian fabricator.

You can create that thick reveal for the front edge with any countertop material if you have a good fabricator. And you can find quartz or ultra-compact surfaces that mimic the look of concrete.

Dekton and Silestone makes several slabs with a concrete look.

Well, you either like the matte finish of Corian/Swanstone or not, I guess. We love it, and our 20-yr old Swanstone integrated vanity still looks new despite hard usage. As you like a glossier surface, you might want to look into cultured granite. Available at most cultured marble shops, it has more particulate in the resin, but because of the clear gelcoat has a slightly glossier appearance than Corian/Swanstone, although it looks so similar most people who see our CG double vanity think it's Corian. Wears very well (of course, absolutely no abrasives used or needed) and is quite cost-effective. Colors vary from one vendor to another, so if you don't see exactly the color you want, shop around. You can see from the reflections on the counter that the surface is definitely glossier than Corian/Swanstone's matte finish, although it's not a super-high gloss finish. Our master bath is a very narrow rectangle so it's hard to get a good shot of everything. This is the best I have of the sinks, unfortunately. It's a tan cultured granite that matches the neo-angle showerpan and surround. Hope this helps!

Classic looking offset vanity top?

Try the furniture guild or porcelanosa. I think Furniture guild is a stone based while porcelanosa is corian like but they both have tops with offset sinks. See page 13 in the attached link for the Kole sink. I would recommend Duravit but their options leave you with their vanities as an option. They are ceramic and I think the only offset sink is the Scola. Another option is just to have a countertop fabricator make you an offset cutout for a sink of your choice. Good luck.

Vanity top on backorder looking for an alternative

I ordered a 60 inch vanity from Fairmont Designs in the Charlottesville collection. I ordered the vanity, the sinks and the countertop on April 30. They told me after I ordered it and after I did my plumbing for my bathroom that the countertop was backordered until July 31. It is a Siberian White quartz countertop by ColorQuartz. Fairmont Designs said that the item was popular and that it is backordered. If we knew before we ordered we wouldn't have purchased it. We bought the vanity because we liked the siberian white quartz countertop. I am son disappointed with Fairmont Designs. Don't order from them. They make the counter overseas. China of course. If you are going to sell something then you ought to know what your demand is and not screw people up who are doing remodels of their bathroom. Now I am running around trying to find someone who sells siberian white quartz. When I find somebody, they tell me that they can't do the job before my vanity to not enough square footage to get a slab. Does anyone know where I can get siberian white quartz for a 60 inch by 24 inch vanity? I am located in Brooklyn, NY.

vanity top needed for new master bathroom

Go to your local fabricators to find a grey top that you can physically see in person. Do not trust colors coming off the monitor. Usually honed material is notorious for showing spots etc. Quartz is not meant to be sealed. The local fabricators will have many remnants that you can choose from to best match your bathroom and cut the two sinks.

Do all these suggestions include the integrated sink? That's a key aspect for me too.

As suggested...... you can do it with Corian ( Dupont original ) and integrate the sink.

Personally? Not a fan of the integrated sink, nor the lack of gloss which has the lovely feature of needing a "push/ swipe" for toothpaste, hair etc, which will be much amplified with sharper radius and that look..

Depends your ( daily) bath cleanup habits. " I have read maintenance issues"......yeah.

As to the vanity? Custom...... you specify, or your designer specifies. Wall hung/floating needs infrastructure WITHIN the wall.

The thicker edge can be achieved with the addition of a strip that is miter joined. Most installers should be able to fabricate.

I have seen this in marble many times so whay not check out a nice gray marble to have this fabricated .
