How long ago did the fire go through? It's amazing to see all the green ground cover already.

Annie, the evacuation for the area was around May 2. Their trail cams stopped working around May 4 so they’re guessing it was then.

Fire is a strange thing. It hops from area to area and can start up at any time when it is super dry. About two miles from my house there is a stand of trees that completely burned down. It jumped the highway and burned the other side as well. Everything around it is lush green.

My daughter lives in the city and this property is just a rec project for them that they go to on weekends. This was just a tiny fire compared to others.

I feel bad for anyone who lost their homes.
