I like Wythe (pronounced 'with', not the same name as Wyeth the artistic family) blue a lot. I think it would be lovely on your door.

I like wythe blue. Some porch furniture with the same color cushions, etc would also look very nice, along with some big pots of flowers.

No sure about Wyeth with the metal roof. Consider another HC color, Somerville Red.

Add pinks and purple in your plantings.

I don't know how much care you want to do for foundation plantings, but you might like this idea:

Since you are by the water, a darker teal color might look really nice for the door.
