Oh my gosh, that is a beautiful window. Almost makes me want a kiln to flatten bottles in, but I don't have the talent to put them together with other glass. I love it tho, thanks for showing. There's a person around my area who sells flattened gray goose vodka and other interesting bottles to use as appetizer plates. I passed up 3 of those blue beer bottles that were sitting on the curb a while back. I was in a hurry, then I regretted it ever since. such a nice size. Kathy

I've had mine for two years and it looks like new. No scratches. My cleaner wipes it down every other week, not sure what she uses but it is just glass so windex would work. Because you open it by grabbing the inset edge, it really doesn't get a lot of finger prints on it . If I see some, I use a paper towel to wipe them off.

Sounds like the Cafe fridge is a great choice. @Susan L there will be an 11ft island in front of the appliance wall where I can place stuff coming from the fridge and oven. It looks like my choice of cooking appliances is changing. After researching comparable Speed and Steam combi ovens, I came across the Thermador Masterpiece line. I went to see in person at a Ferguson showroom and the gray glass of the wall ovens closely match the platinum glass on the Cafe refrigerator. I also like that their glass is not black so the light finish will look great with my navy blue cabinets. Also, I like their flexible induction cooktop since I often use big braiser pans for cooking. It is a lot more than the Miele but I'm hoping that it will be offset by the savings on the wall ovens. As far as service goes, according to the SA in Ferguson and Spencers, they will recommend Thermador over Miele (they carry both brands). I'm so excited about these appliances. It will be a looooong 10 months waiting for our new build.

After hearing that our local appliance store doesn't carry Samsung any more because of the difficulty of getting parts, AND reading tons of complaints here about Samsung we immediately eliminated all Samsung appliances as possibilities for us. We just got a different model Café platinum glass fridge and it looks just fine with stainless.
