How to clean marble in bathroom?
Comments (7)I have tumbled marble in my bathroom and tried a tile spray to remove the soap buildup as well as Quick n brite. These two did not work for me, though. After browsing a tile forum I came up with using an ammonia based product. I ended up using pine-sol diluted in my bathtub and a non-scratching scrubby. Not only did this work, but when I drained my tub the little grip circles on the bottom of my tub were back to white...something that even a soaking with bleach couldn't seem to fix for me....See MoreHow to clean bathroom with brand new travertine tile?

Comments (3)My Ex-housekeeper....used vinegar on my dark rust marble floors and it etched lines and spot all over. I had a pro come in and try to buff it out but it didn't work. I have several marble floors and I use Windex without vinegar dilluted in a bucket of warm water. Thats my 2c worth. Nancy...See MoreHow to clean bathroom 'splashing' off marble floor?

Having said that, you are still getting a little urine even from the splash. But I would guess more of your problem is just water spots drying on the floor. Do you have hard water? They could be hard water rings. If so, then vinegar would take them off. Of course vinegar also takes the shine off of marble. I won't have marble in the house so I don't know if there is a mildly abrasive marble polish that might help you....See MoreLomo
