Glad to hear that you are happy. I do hope that you have better luck than these folks who needed theirs repalced at 9 years old and had warranty coverage declined.

Its not a bad window IMO, just be careful about your expectations for maintenance and durability.

That's correct Todd. I'd venture to guess however that 1) Most folks aren't aware of that stipulation, and 2) they don't expect that type of damage to occur to their composite windows.

I think most wood understand that water is bad for a wood veneered window regardless of the base material. Even a vinyl window with a Vinyl wood grain will delaminate.

I'd respond by reiterating point #2 above. In my experience the homeowners did not expect their composite windows to crumble in under 10 years due to condensation. That's just my experience.

I've also not seen woodgrain delamination on vinyl (or inorganic composities) due to condensation. Again, maybe you've seen something different.

That said, I think you would agree that a laminated vinyl window has an exponentially lower risk of condensation damage than a real wood veneered composite.

I'm sure that you'd also agree that the original post is either fake, or bought and paid for, which is the only reason that I've commented on it.
