Comments (7)Well, I think 'Regal Splendor' and 'Sum and Substance' is right--but 'Twilight', I'm not real positive, on that i.d.! My 'Twilight' is a much darker green and right now is more cream margined, which will intensify and lighten contrast, in time, yet! Could it possibly be 'Wide Brim'? They all look like they are just beginning to unfurl--maybe once they are completely opened up, we'll have a better idea of them ALL!! :o)...See MorePlease help me identify these hostas
Comments (5)Barb, I think this #2 blue is a tad too large in the leaves - not sure about the corrugation either. My BC's aren't corrugated but I better double check, lol. I don't have a guess for this one :( I agree with MK and Ken - #1 = Albomarginata for the first one. Ken, I don't know how to tell UA apart from Fortunei...I have UAs in my garden. #3 sure looks like a FW! and a nice mature division too! Spectacular! One of my faves. Kaillean, the trio looks great!...See MoreCould anyone help me identify these hostas? Thank you.
Comments (11)hi beth.. welcome ... its never failed to amaze me. how any given hosta.. will bloom.. nearly across the country ... at the same time.. even if down south.. they have been active for many more months than the frozen north ... which probably means.. its triggered by sun position which is mostly consistent across the US as compared to other variables ... so lets return to this with new pix when they bloom ... also ... better pix would help ... we need a scale ...as hosta can look too much alike .... especially when not mature ... but can vary in size .. so include anything we might recognize in the pix ... hand,,, ruler.. lighter.. ballpoint pen.. etc ... ken...See Moredjacob Z6a SE WI
