Expired Multivitamin Pills in Compost?
Comments (13)Back in college, my girlfriend (now wife) did an experiment in her Bio class which showed that vitamin E increased plant root cell growth. Granted, that was just an undergraduate research paper, a far cry from a peer reviewed doctoral thesis. But the results were pretty convincing. I always told her she should repeat the experiment and publish it, as it might be an important discovery, but for one reason or another she never did. -Diggity...See MoreDo you ever wish you could pack up your house and take it with you?
Comments (7)My cousin and her husband retired and have one. With plumbing and electrical, cawaps! They avoid the earthquakes, leave Florida when hurricane season comes, head back when the snow flies, set it up in their kids' driveways in various parts of the country. It's their fifth-wheel camper with pop-outs and awnings!...See MoreMulti-vitamins high in folate and no iron?
Comments (8)Thank you everyone I appreciate the input. I currently take them separately, but am trying to cut down on pills to take hence hoping to get back to a vitamin that has what I need. Currently take a multi-vitamin, separate folate, separate vitamin D (need high dosage), separate calcium, separate magnesium (glycinate/lysinate chelate). I see lots of of pre-natals that has the dosage or more than I need, but they all seem to have iron. I've found some without iron, but they don't have the folate dosage. I know taking the magnesium as well as the Vitamin D (with vitamin K) due to dosage likely will need to still be done separate, but was hoping to at least stop having to take the folate separate since I didn't have to in the past and I just need a small amount of supplemental calcium so it could be covered by a mulit-vitamin. @User - I'll have to look into the custom vitamins. As expensive as the prenatals were it might not be too bad....See MoreDoes your dog take a multi-vitamin
Comments (10)Yes, there is an ingredient list on the side of the package. It's Blue Buffalo hydrolyzed kibble. It didn't occur to me to ask the vet if this food is ok long term when we were in very recently. Anyway, I remembered that Chewy has a free service in which autoship customers can speak to a vet! I "chatted" with Dr. Erin, and she was very helpful. She said the food in question is fine long-term. Multivitamin not necessary, but since the kibble is grain free, I could add a little rice into his meals. Very nice service....See MoreJudy Good
