Comments (47)White kittens. (Several years ago, I had 4 cats neutered for an old lady who lived down the bayou from me. I also gave her catfood for them. She died and her boyfriend was being evicted. He moved off and left the cats. So I brought them here when I moved, and put them in the office. But someone had dumped a pregnant white cat there too, and I brought her. I had to put her inside for the time being. She had 5 white kittens. They each have a little blue smudge on their heads. Comments (39)Alisande - I probably never mentioned it. We had it for 5 years and loved it - except for the occasional rain leak that soaked the carpet on the driver's side. It took months and multiple trips to the dealer to solve that one - they assumed it was the ragtop but something was clogged in the cowl. I found this photo on Wikimedia - This isn't my car but it's similar - white with red interior. In 1978 I brought my firstborn home from the hospital in that car - and the next day the first of 4 consecutive station wagons was delivered. Comments (20)The LEGO world map that my husband and I gave each other for Christmas. There are forty squares 4 by 8 inches that are done separately and then joined together. Walked into my den and saw a gigantic spider inside the lampshade. Took a couple seconds to realize it was the shadow of the lamp’s finial and harp.

last monthlast modified: last monthGreen anole on my bananas a few days ago - they're an extremely rare sight around here now, tho they were quite common when I was a kid. We called them chameleons because they can change from green to brown.
I was pleased to see it looked very healthy.

- My new light fixture. The last one had cups that pointed "up". This one won't collect so much dust/moths...projects the light downwards.....
