Kohler Vibrant Brushed Moderne Gold vs Brass

Does anybody know what the real difference is between these two Kohler finishes? We're ordering fixtures and accessories for a bathroom in Brushed Moderne Brass, but the medicine cabinet only comes in Vibrant Brushed Moderne Gold. We cannot find an example of it anywhere, including the Kohler showroom. We're concerned it will clash. Thank you!

How can we help without seeing either finish I am not sure why yhe Kohler showroom does not show both . I assume the medicine cabinet is not Kohler so maybe a tleast post a pic of the cabinet

You can’t tell from the photos and no Kohler showroom has the gold on the floor. I was asking if anybody knew the difference from their own experience. The medicine cabinet is Kohler.

Why is it so hard to find cute bath lighting that doesn't look like it's from the 90's? I put these in my bathroom (Sea Gull Lighting Driscoll). you can get them in configurations of 1-4 lights per sconce. not super high end though. If you spent the $$$ on those nice Kohler finishes, you might want to keep looking. But I've had mine for over 8 months and still really love them.

@HB I have the top knobs honey bronze and I don't think it's an exact match, but it looks decent. depends on how close the two items are. Also, be careful to order an exact sample from current lot of knobs/pulls. I don't know if it's COVID, but there are issues with different shades of the honey bronze finish for TopKnobs. The one I ordered recently on MyKnobs came out ok, which comes directly from the manufacturer. I'm pretty sure that Build.com also orders directly from manufacturer. MyKnobs will allow you to order a single pull/knob as "sample" and will charge you, but then will credit your eventual order with them for each sample you purchased. but you can only get one sample per item (but I think that each size of same style counts as a different item, but I would check with them). Otherwise, if anyone else has any suggestions, I'd love to hear what they've found to match kohler's vibrant moderne brushed brass (2MB). I finally received my bath fixtures from kohler in this finish and was somewhat disappointed in the quality. There was some unevenness in the finish and I'm hoping that they just need to be cleaned and wiped of any residual chemicals (which kohler claims is what may be on there), but that doesn't account for the areas which are lighter than the others and lighter than the sample chip. I didn't want a super light yellow color on my fixtures. they're all installed now and the tub filler is very prominent in the room, so very disappointed.

I am looking at glass warehouse too. There is a pic online… can’t find it at the moment that shows Vigo to have a perfect match, and from what some say, the Glass Warehouse is the same. I am unsure, but I see where you’re thinking is going. The glass warehouse has frameless ones too which are a bump up in looks some might thunk too. Bit of a conundrum for sure. It would be great if someone posted about this if they’ve already taken the leap.

There's a few threads already, but I can't find anything definitive or final choices that were made. I'm having difficulty finding close matches to Kohlers Purist Vibrant Moderne Brushed brass. Has anyone tried matching it with West Elm's Antique brass? I know I won't find anything that's an exact match, but hoping to find something close and get all bathroom accessories from the same place so there's some cohesiveness.
