Comments (148)Thank you so much for coming back and updating us. I was wondering just a few days ago where you went. Your cottage is adorable and says so much about what can be done to upgrade/create a beautiful setting. Great choices. I love the railings and window boxes, finished steps and path. Well, everything! Enjoy your home and happy gardening....See MoreNeed a new exterior paint color and new roof!
Comments (2)Thank you so much for this idea! I've been looking more at warmer colors...like greige or warm off-whites. I am so undecided so thanks for your thoughts on this!...See MoreMid Centrury Ranch makeover, main entry, new paint, new siding, roof
Comments (9)I like the pergola idea by your entry, but, I do like the brown that you have, and also like your brick. It looks like you dont have a place up near the house, for real landscaping, but, it appears you do have pots, that I assume you are planting colorful flowers in when the weather permits? It does need some color to brighten it up, although, like most of us, there is that thing about the leaves all falling off the trees, called winter. Maybe in the spring, you could do some nice landscaping on the yard side of the driveway, that would help with the need for better landscaping....See MoreBrick Home w/New Roof Needs New Soffit & Fascia -- WHAT COLOR??
Comments (8)I did not provide enough information and also my photos were not detailed enough to show that the actual (brand new) WINDOWS (from Window World) are NOT the same color as the old painted wood surrounding them. We think it will be impossible--and not look particularly good--to paint the wood to "match." They are a shade of beige, but it appears to have a slight undertone of green to it. We wanted to keep the shutters to add more color, but I get your point and appreciate your feedback!...See Morecat_ky
