Help! Need ideas for Master bedroom
Comments (0)Help! We just bought a new house. I need ideas on how to style our master bedroom. I wanted to keep it pretty simple with maybe a few splashes of neutral colors like white, brown, grey, or maybe a light lilac. I know my husband won’t like anything to crazy. Maybe some fake white or green flowers too? I was also thinking to add a big leather chair by my dresser? Basically I’m all over the place and need ideas! Any input is appreciated. TIA! :) Please excuse our mess....See Moreleaning floor mirror for master bedroom ?, ideas needed
Comments (14)Those leaning mirrors look great when there's a lot of space to move around. I don't think you have that space. Art would be my suggestion as well but there's no rush. Chalk paint for your chest is a great idea. Have you worked with it before? I was so impressed by how easy it is. If you're keeping your bedding, perhaps that can inspire your new wall colour?...See MoreNeed help with curtains, blinds and bedding for my master bedroom
Comments (5)Your bedroom reminds me of this model home's master suite. https://tours.stevenjamescollins.com/public/vtour/display/209717 Rather than trying to match the brown furniture, coordinate with it. A near match is a miss. Make a deliberate choice for something different, like these light colored pair of chests, or a light colored chest with a dark top. Also. Add wall art in your chosen accent color for above the bed....See MoreUpgrade my master bedroom decor - any ideas??
Comments (7)I'm in agreement with most of the above. Remove all the "littles" - things you can carry in both hands like the square mirrors above the doorway to the sunroom, the pieces above the bed, the vase of dried stuff, the rug by the mirror, the two tiny bedside lamps. Consider replacing the nightstands with floating shelves and some wall mounted corded swing arm lamps. If it will fit, I'd hang that big art above the bed and start shopping for accessories in those rich colors. I'd prefer sheer curtains hung in the sunroom to filter the light. Then put linen or silk panels in the bedroom. Did you ever try the bed in front of the two windows? I think your bench is too small for that wall or for the scale of the bed; try it in the sunroom, hall or foyer....See Morelbur1999
