I really like your laundry room! Thanks for the clarification on the use and layout. You can focus more of your budget on the fun stuff if you're ok with not relocating everything. Replacing the vanities could potentially give you much more storage as there is a lot of open space under the sinks. I assume they are ADA compliant. If you need that can you do with just one of the sinks as compliant and then use the rest of the vanity as drawers/doors for storage? If you can do without it all together then you could either do a super long double vanity or two separate ones with a linen tower in between. I agree you could go with a free standing tub. Replace the glass bricks with a different window (or windows) as long as you will still have some privacy. You might have to move the tub down a bit towards the corner. Then you could take down the wall between the tub and shower and put in a frameless glass shower, maybe splurge a bit on the tiles as they will be more visible without the wall. If you want to carry the pretty wood floor right into the bathroom take a look at Calacatta. It looks so nice with the red/brown of the floor. Does anyone out there know a good designer who won't break the bank to remodel a master bathroom and redecorate the adjoining bedroom I live in Cleveland Ohio thank you

I LOVE white on white bedrooms. Think texture, e.g. faux fur throw or lambskin fur on the floor (Costco is selling them for 99.00 in the warehouse right now); linen or maybe velvet drapes (IKEA -- either their linen or they have the Sanela velvet now in white, too); maybe some faux wood or bamboo blinds. Art work. Maybe some baskets. Nightstand and table. You can also add some plants, either green leafy or orchids. They thrive in my bathroom. For the bathroom. I love silver sage or maybe a slight blue, like BM Quiet Moments or Healing Aloe. I'd go relatively dark with the vanity. Oh, and what were you planning for the shower curtain? Maybe a patterned white or a white with a pastel ribbon design.

I think you're going to want to take your color cues from the finishes you choose for flooring, cabinets, etc., especially in the bathroom. Once you have those, start pulling paint swatches that coordinate and take you in the direction you want to go. I've seen some lovely and classic looking barn doors done, so I'm sure you can pull off the look. I have seen people caution against using them between bedroom and bath though, as you may have more light and noise leakage that you get with a traditional door.
