Refrigerator, Need water and Ice in door,SxS or bottom freezer
Comments (22)Carmela39 The ice issue is not a problem if you intend to use the dispenser as you described. It is not convenient to just put your hand into the ice tray to "get a handfull", otherwise it operates like any other auto icemaker/dispenser. The cabinet vs full depth is an appearence issue if the grey side of the cabinet is unappealing to you. You will see a full 6 inches of the painted side and additionally the half inch or so of the door gasket and then the depth of the stainless door with the full depth Samsung refrigerator with 24 inch deep cabinets (standard). Recessing the rear wall as I have indicated is the option many have taken (I was unable to do this since I live in an attached townhouse and this was the attached wall). If your contractor suggests this will be difficult I would defer to him (the issue is more than making the wall a few inches narrower). Regarding the availability of the reported CD Samsung french door model I refer you to the posting "Please Help- French Door Refrigerator Questions" on 7/18/07 at 16:11. Within this thread (near the end) is a posting by Britter making reference to the "new CD model". There were additional inquiries as others are also interested in this model. I would suggest contacting your dealer or his factory rep. for more information/verification. Finally, I have some photos of my installation but I am unaware of the method of posting/sharing them. Good luck tonight and feedback you decisions. Cuse69...See MoreWhat food related tips have you learned this year?

Shred them and squeeze them dry with a towel. (This ensures that your potatoes brown nicely.) 2. In a mixing bowl, add the potatoes, followed by salt and pepper to taste. 3. Spread about a teaspoon of butter on the waffle iron. (A silicone pastry brush works well; neither you nor the brush will melt while you spread the butter around the extremely hot waffle iron, and any nonstick finish on your waffle iron will be spared.) 4. Pile the shredded potatoes into the waffle iron and close the lid. 5. After a few minutes, you may wish to squeeze down the lid a bit. Check the potatoes after 10 minutes. In my waffle iron on the medium heat setting, the potatoes showed golden-brown highlights after about 15 minutes. But yours will vary, possibly by quite a bit. 6. Carefully remove the potatoes from the waffle iron. Serve them with grated cheese or sour cream. You could also serve waffled hash browns with ketchup, alongside a waffleburger. But that takes serious commitment to the concept. And I would worry about you a little. I used mine as the base for a fried egg, topped with shavings of three-year Gouda. It took me about two minutes to clean my plate. And, no, I did not waffle the egg. Not that one, anyway. Cooking bacon came from Alton Brown's show....See Moretips for organizing a chest freezer?
Comments (5)I have two freezers -- one chest freezer and one upright. I use the chest freezer for meat -- ground beef in 3 stacks -- roasts in another stack-- stew beef in another stack -- steaks in another. And if there is a side of pork -- it will be organized the same way. Under the basket -- I keep things I don't use often --- soup bones and short ribs. And then in the basket -- I keep extrememly short-storage items so the turn will be quick -- bread and rolls. In the upright -- I keep veggies -- usually, corn and brocolli on their own shelf -- onions, peppers etc on another. WW flour, extra butter, morel mushrooms, juices and icecream on the door. Often -- there is a large box of ice pops on another shelf. Chest freezers are great for long term storage but not for organization of lots of different items. Comments (117)I’ve only just discovered this board but what a great thread! Building on Raye Smith’s suggestion, go round your house with your smartphone or camera. Take an overall picture of each room in each direction, then close ups of any smaller stuff, closet and drawer contents, identifying marks/serial/models numbers on appliances/TVs/other electronics, etc, etc. You can do this over several days if necessary. When you are done, add labels to each photo indicating what it’s of (Tommy’s room, master closet, jewellery box, etc) and upload the pictures to the cloud or copy to a flash drive and store in your safe/safe deposit box. Hopefully, you will never need it but in case you ever need to make an insurance claim, you won’t have to rely on memory. If you can manage it, update the pictures annually....See Moreartemis78
